What Kind of Government Do We Really Have?

By Tom Kiser

Governments of the kind that we have today in this nation are an unfunny, terminally sick joke! Does anyone really believe that the purchasing power that our federal government has stolen from our descendants will ever be repaid?

Governments have the power to take and make use of some part of the worth that is being produced by the economically productive members of the nation’s society, current and future. That’s it. Period. Beyond that, governments are helpless, hopeless institutions who tend toward being kleptocracies. Our federal government has become the largest and most lucrative organized crime syndicate that has ever existed on the planet.

An activist or so-called progressive government will make more use of it’s power by taking more and using more–and wasting more.

In the United States today, the economic cost burden of the taking by our 27,000 or so governments is so far out front as the most prominent root cause of the economic hardship and poverty that is being experienced by the American people that the next ten most prominent causes likely don’t add up to being the cause of as much economic hardship as is big ol’ number one.

Do we have any Republicans–or Democrats–who are holding offices in Washington or who aspire to be elected to hold office in Washington who have the gumption and the political courage to take on the very real problem that must be solved as a prerequisite for being able to get our nation back on the road to a sustainable future: The problem of a nation that has to many governments most of which are too large and cost too much? If we do, then let’s get behind that person or those people and PUSH!!!!!!

Think eviction, not secession!
