Educate before You Vaccinate

On Tuesday, March 28th, The Madison Forum and The Canton T.E.A. Party jointly sponsored a seminar hosted by the Cornerstone Church in Jasper, Georgia. The speakers were Renée and Dr. Gary Tunsky. The session was on the topic of vaccinations and autism as well as ancillary issues and preventative measures that one can take to ensure your body’s immune system can better handle all of the environmental toxins in which it is continuously exposed on a daily basis.

April Renée Tunsky is the Keynote Speaker for Vaccine Information Coalition (VIC) and former President of The Autism Autoimmunity Project (TAAP).

Judge Nally Explains the History and Power of the Grand Jury

Judge Paul Nally, Madison Forum Secretary and Chairman of Legal Education, spoke to a full house at a graciously arranged dinner and talk sponsored by the Canton Tea Party Patriots and The Madison Forum on November 12, 2015. The topic was the function of the Grand Jury, and Judge Nally is the acknowledged expert in Georgia.

The Judge led the audience through a reasoned litany of what our civic responsibilities are as jurists in Georgia. He placed the hierarchy of power in proper perspective by demonstrating through the words of the Georgia Constitution and the relevant case law that the … Read more...

English Removed as the Official Language of Instruction and Testing in Taxpayer Funded Schools

By
Dr. Mary Kay Bacallao

E Pluribus Unum, on U.S. coins is Latin for “out of many, one.” Part of America’s national identity has been connected to the use of one language. Immigrants from many lands and language groups have assimilated into the United States. Learning English has been a large part of that process. New education legislation, passed in 2015, requires schools to test certain students in other languages, if they accept federal education money.

The “Every Child Achieves Act of 2015” includes new requirements for schools serving students who speak other languages. On page 39, line 5, S. … Read more...

Part II-Today Through the 2016 Elections

Jewish Political Perspective

By
Larry Laibson

Introduction
In Part I of this paper, I outlined the historical Jewish political perspective which is unique to America. Jews have consistently been Democratic with the largest majority of any group overall (Blacks are the largest Democratic voting bloc in recent elections after switching over from the Republican Party many years ago). This is an interesting phenomenon as Jews in other countries are more evenly divided between the various Left and Right Parties. Jewish immigrants came to America from Europe/Russia to escape anti-Semitism in the old countries. They were generally religious and socialistic. It … Read more...

Jewish Political Perspective Part I-History through 2012

By
Larry Laibson

Introduction
Historically, Jews have been Liberal and in the U.S. associated with the Democrat Party. Other than Blacks, Jews historically have lopsidedly voted Democratic. Why? What is the Jewish political perspective? Is it changing? How has the U.S. Israel relationship, especially under President Obama and the current Iran Nuclear Deal, affected the Jewish voter? Are the Demographics changing for the 2016 Elections?

I am a Conservative Jew. Until 2000, I had generally voted for the candidate and his/her positions with economy, foreign policy, national security, America’s Exceptionalism, Constitution, and Equal Opportunity for All being predominant factors. Social … Read more...

The Time has come-

By
Paul L. Nally

Not To ask what price our Liberty, but what price inattention to it.

Mrs. Katharine Johnston’s death should never have happened. Then the Habersham child and now David Hooks.

As a former Police Chief and Judge, I have found it useful to look to the past for guidance and understanding. In 1604 Lord Coke ruled that (paraphrasing) a man’s home is his castle, and if the sheriff comes upon the King’s business, he may not break down the door, but he must announce his business at the portal.

From that time until our Constitution, that was … Read more...

Magna Carta Libertatum And The Murder of David Hooks –

By
Paul Nally

The Great Charter of Liberties, commonly referenced simply as “Magna Carta” or, in the vernacular, “the Great Charter”, the founding document of all Common Law countries, celebrates its 800th birthday June 15th.

This document was hoped to bring peace between the King and his subjects in the time of King John. As was the usual reason for dissent, John, who had lost his ancestral lands in France in 1204 and tried for 10 years to regain them, raised extensive taxes each year to pay for the venture. Ironically, in the previous century, King Henry I had proclaimed … Read more...

CLARIFICATIONS AND ACTIONS ON TRADE PRIORITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITY ACT (TPA) VS TRANS-PACIFIC PARTNERSHIP (TPP)

By
Larry Laibson

There are many major issues and questions on both Trade Priorities and Accountability Act (TPP) and Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). There is confusion of what these entail and what is actually being voted on in Congress.  Are there Constitutional issues regarding “Powers” and responsibilities?  Is TPP really a Treaty? What does it cover and why is there such extensive secrecy?  Will America’ Sovereignty be affected?

Congress is voting on TPA which outlines guidelines for TPP’s negotiation by the Executive Branch and provides provisions to give President Obama “fast track” approval of TPP if and when it is brought … Read more...

SOME THOUGHTS ON DEMOGRAPHICS OF JEWISH, BLACK AND HISPANIC VOTERS AND THE 2016 PRESIDENTIAL RACE

By
Larry Laibson

There have been many questions and articles regarding the voting characteristic of some groups that have generally been consistently “liberal” and “Democratic: i.e. Jews, Blacks and Hispanics.
I continually get questions from friends on how Jews in such large majorities support Democrats over the years especially Obama. Responses can vary and from the ’30,000 foot level” books like Norman Podhoretz’s “Why Are Jews Liberal” (a hard read) which try to cover it by addressing liberalism arising from “the hardships faced by our ancestors in the old country.” A more understandable Podhoretz was exhibited in his 2009 Wall … Read more...
